Liverpool City of Sanctuary is a local network of community groups, businesses, faith organisations and individuals working since 2012 to make Liverpool a welcoming place for refugees and people seeking asylum. The group coordinates pledges from organisations to provide sanctuary-friendly services, runs awareness events, and connects people seeking sanctuary with local resources. It hosts the Schools of Sanctuary and Universities of Sanctuary streams and links members with practical support providers across the city.
