Maldon and District Citizens Advice provides free, confidential and impartial advice to district residents from the Council Offices on Princes Road, Monday-Friday 10am-4pm, with weekly outreach surgeries in Burnham and Southminster and home visits available. Advisers help with benefits and welfare rights, debt, housing, employment, consumer, legal and family problems, including form-filling, PIP/DLA applications and appeals. The Adviceline is 0808 278 7855 and an Essex out-of-hours phone service operates Mon-Fri 4pm-8pm and Saturday 9am-1pm on 0808 250 5724.
