Manchester Carers Forum
Carers & Family Support · Charity · Manchester (Hulme)
Peer-led organisation reducing isolation for unpaid carers in Manchester through support groups, coffee meets, walks, days out and short breaks.
Manchester Carers Forum is run by unpaid carers for unpaid carers, building peer support across the city. Monthly support groups, weekly cafe coffee meets and group walks help carers connect with others who understand the role. The forum arranges days out, short breaks and respite-style events for carers and the people they look after. It also advocates with NHS and local authority commissioners to shape carer services, and links members to Manchester Carers Centre, Age UK and Mind for one-to-one advice. Joining is free and easy.
