Mental health charity offering counselling, peer support, advice on benefits/debt/housing, and young peoples services across Manchester city.
Manchester Mind provides free mental health support for residents of Manchester City Council areas. Services include a welcome and access team, one-to-one listening calls, peer support groups, counselling for adults, and tailored work with young people in schools. A specialist advice team offers free guidance on welfare benefits, debt and housing for people whose mental health is affected. Mindfulness courses and workplace training are also delivered. Self-referral is welcomed and the team can also signpost to urgent crisis services if needed.
