Drop-in for asylum seekers and refugees with practical help, classes and activities.
MAP runs a busy drop-in six days a week in central Middlesbrough offering practical support and friendship to asylum seekers and refugees. The team provides second-hand clothing and household goods, English conversation, keep fit, singing, chess and a reading group, plus one-off outings. About 350 people use the service each year, helping people settle in and feel welcome in the town.
