Manchester Action on Street Health (MASH)
Social Connection & Community · Charity · Manchester (Cheetham Hill)
Confidential, non-judgemental support for women in the sex industry in Greater Manchester, including outreach van, drop-in, sexual health and casework.
MASH is a Manchester charity working with women in the sex industry for over 30 years. From its drop-in centre and street outreach van, it offers sexual health screening, needle exchange, condoms, harm reduction, counselling, casework and life-skills support. The team builds trusting relationships with more than 700 women a year, helping them stay safer and healthier and exit the sex industry if they choose. Creative workshops in writing, photography and art support recovery and self-expression. Self-referral is welcomed and confidentiality is paramount.
