Maytree Suicide Respite Centre
Mental Health & Addictions · Charity · National service
Maytree is the UKs only residential respite centre for adults in suicidal crisis, offering a free one-off four-night stay in London.
Maytree, opened in 2002, is the only UK residential service for people in suicidal crisis. Adults can have a one-off free five-day, four-night stay at the family-style house in north London, with up to four guests at a time, supported by trained volunteers and professionals. The stay offers respite, time and space to talk through suicidal thoughts and behaviour, filling the gap between NHS crisis care and helplines. Self-referral by phone 020 7263 7070 or email.
