Mid and North East Essex Mind is the local independent mental health charity for Braintree, Chelmsford, Maldon, Colchester and Tendring, offering hope and support so that no one feels alone. Services include free and private Counselling, the Wellbeing Support Service, Welcome Cafes, Move for Your Mind, Bereaved by Suicide support, Employment Advice and the Tend VR Mindfulness Programme. Adults in crisis can use the Mid Essex Sanctuary, a community alternative to A&E open 10am to 1am every day, accessed via NHS 111 option 2.
