The Mid Sussex Older Peoples Council is a small charity (number 1147878) tackling loneliness and isolation among residents aged 50+ across Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Hassocks and surrounding villages. It runs social events, learning sessions and gives information and advice, and produces a regular newsletter. The council also works alongside Walking for Health, the University of the Third Age, the Royal British Legion and Lions Clubs International, and helps open lines of communication between older people and Mid Sussex District Council.
