Independent mental health charity in Barrow offering counselling, peer support and crisis support across South West Cumbria.
Mind in Furness is a local, self-funded mental health charity based at the William Bingley Centre in Barrow-in-Furness. It runs drop-in sessions, one-to-one support, counselling and peer groups for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, isolation or longer-term mental health issues. The team supports residents across Barrow, Ulverston, Millom and the wider South West Cumbria area, and works closely with GPs and social prescribers to help people stay well in their community.
