Trussell network food bank serving Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham and Carnforth from its Westgate base.
Morecambe Bay Foodbank is part of the Trussell network and serves Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham and Carnforth. The base at the Anchor Building on Westgate accepts food donations and operates distribution sites across the area. People in financial crisis can call the foodbank, which will direct them to a partner agency for a voucher, then collect three days of emergency food. Volunteers also offer signposting and a listening ear.
