Citywide charity providing free information, advice, counselling and support to unpaid adult carers in Newcastle.
Newcastle Carers is an independent charity supporting unpaid adult carers across Newcastle upon Tyne. From their Byker centre they offer one-to-one advice, support groups, counselling, complementary therapy and wellbeing grants for people caring for a relative or friend who is ill, disabled, has mental health difficulties or is misusing drugs or alcohol. The team helps carers access benefits, plan emergencies and stay in education or work. Drop-in sessions and outreach appointments run citywide every weekday.
