Free NHS talking therapies (IAPT) including CBT, counselling and guided self-help for people with anxiety, depression and stress in Newham.
Newham Talking Therapies is the NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies service delivered by East London NHS Foundation Trust. It offers free, confidential treatment including CBT, guided self-help, counselling, EMDR and group programmes for adults with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, PTSD or long-term physical health issues. The service holds platinum service-user-led accreditation and can adjust support for different languages including British Sign Language. Community workshops are open before referral. Who they help: Adults with mild-to-moderate anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, phobias, stress or LTC-related distress.
Eligibility: Adults 18+ who live in Newham or are registered with a Newham GP.
