NHS — Find a Pharmacy / Free Blood Pressure Checks
New Health Problems · Public Service · National service
Free NHS blood pressure checks at participating community pharmacies across England for adults aged 40+. No GP appointment needed.
NHS community pharmacies across England offer free services without needing to see a GP. Many participating pharmacies provide free blood pressure checks, which can help spot high blood pressure that often has no symptoms but raises the risk of heart attack and stroke. Some pharmacies can also supply the contraceptive pill without a prescription, free COVID-19 lateral flow tests where available, and support with newly prescribed medicines. Use the NHS Find a Pharmacy tool online to locate your nearest service.
