North Tyneside Carers Centre
Carers & Family Support · Charity · North Tyneside - Wallsend
Independent charity supporting young and adult unpaid carers across North Tyneside with information, advocacy and peer groups.
North Tyneside Carers Centre is the only general carer support service in the borough, helping both young carers and adults caring for someone with illness, disability, dementia or addiction. From their Wallsend hub the team offers confidential information and advice by phone, email or in person, advocacy, one-to-one wellbeing sessions and a programme of workshops covering emotional and practical coping. Peer support groups run in community venues across North Tyneside, and dedicated family workers support young carers and their parents.
