The UK's leading charity for people living with obesity — free peer support groups, including groups for BMI 40+, weight loss surgery, and parents of children with obesity
Obesity UK is the leading national charity dedicated to supporting people living with obesity, operating as a membership organisation that represents their voice. It runs free online peer support groups, including a dedicated group for people with a BMI of 40+, a group for those who have had or are considering weight loss surgery, and groups for parents, carers and guardians of children and young people struggling with their weight. Because the groups run online, they are accessible from anywhere in the UK. The charity also connects members with evidence-based weight management services and campaigns against weight stigma.
