Trussell foodbank giving three days of emergency food to Oldham residents in crisis, with satellite distribution in Chadderton and Shaw.
Oldham Foodbank is a partnership of churches and community groups in the Trussell network. People in financial crisis are referred by Citizens Advice, GP surgeries, schools and the Oldham Council helpline using a voucher system, then collect three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food. The main warehouse on Vulcan Street opens Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, with satellite distributions at South Chadderton Methodist Church and The Salvation Army Shaw on Mondays 11am-2pm.
