The Royal Osteoporosis Society is the UK national charity for bone health and osteoporosis. The free Osteoporosis Helpline 0300 102 3030 is staffed by specialist nurses, open Monday to Friday 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5pm, with email at nurses@theros.org.uk. Nurses answer questions about diagnosis, medication, fracture risk, scans, exercise, nutrition and pain management. Free callbacks, support groups, online community and accessible options such as Typetalk are available. No membership required. Open to anyone in the UK.
