Derby city homelessness hub with hostel, day centre, community pantry and advice services for people in poverty or rough sleeping.
Padley at YMCA Derbyshire runs Derbys main homelessness centre on Becket Street, open 365 days a year. The 12-room direct access hostel and drop-in day centre provide hot meals, showers, clothing, toiletries and a safe place to be. Specialist staff give advice on housing, benefits, mental health and drug or alcohol use, and help people move into and keep a tenancy. The Parcel Terrace site adds a community pantry, cafe, holiday activity programme and budgeting sessions.
