Twice-weekly emergency food parcels for people in crisis across Penrith and Eden run by The Salvation Army.
Penrith Salvation Army Food Bank provides emergency food parcels to local people in crisis. The foodbank operates from the Salvation Army Hall in Hunter Lane in the centre of Penrith, opening twice weekly to receive vouchers and distribute parcels. Referrals come via GPs, social workers, Citizens Advice and schools who issue foodbank vouchers. Officers and volunteers can also signpost to wider Salvation Army services including pastoral and family support.
