Community workshop space and social network for men in Reading to reduce isolation.
Reading Mens Shed, also known as The Silvers Workshop, is a community workshop at 37 Hilcot Road in west Reading (RG30 2SX), close to the Oxford Road. Members tackle DIY, woodworking, repair work and community projects in a sociable setting, with a strong focus on mental wellbeing, friendship and reducing loneliness among men - especially older men. Registered charity 1159283. Newcomers welcome; check the website or Facebook for opening sessions.
