Recovery Steps Cumbria is the county drug and alcohol service, run by Waythrough (formerly Humankind). The Carlisle team works with adults aged 18+ affected by alcohol, illicit drugs and prescribed or over-the-counter medication, and supports their family and friends. People work with a key worker to build a personal recovery plan, with help around employment, education, housing and health. Outreach runs across north Cumbria and self-referrals are welcomed.
