Harehills-based charity helping refugees and asylum seekers across West Yorkshire with ESOL, advice and integration support.
RETAS supports the social, cultural and economic integration of refugees and asylum seekers across West Yorkshire from a base in Harehills. It runs learner-responsive ESOL and IELTS courses, digital skills sessions, and a Welcome to Leeds orientation. RETAS offers holistic advice covering destitution, housing, health, mental health, debt, education, training and employment. A 28-day transition project supports people newly granted refugee status. 70 percent of staff have lived experience of migration.
