Saint Francis Hospice provides free, expert care to people living with serious life-limiting illnesses and their families across Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Brentwood and parts of West Essex. Services include inpatient hospice ward care, community and home-based palliative care, therapies, counselling, bereavement support, and the OrangeLine helpline.
Referrals can be made by a GP or healthcare professional, by the patient themselves, or by a family member or carer. The process is straightforward and the team are on hand to help.

Who they help: People of any age with a serious life-limiting illness, and their families and carers
Eligibility: Must have a serious life-limiting illness and live within the areas served. Open to all faiths and cultural backgrounds. All services are free of charge.
Area covered: Brentwood, Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, and parts of West Essex
Not suitable for: This hospice is for people with a serious life-limiting illness who live in Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Brentwood or parts of West Essex. It is not available to people without such an illness or who live outside these areas.
