Social Connection & Community · Charity · Stoke-on-Trent
Telephone befriending and social activities for older people in Stoke-on-Trent who feel lonely or isolated.
Carelink is part of the Stoke-on-Trent charity Saltbox and supports people aged 65 and over who live alone or feel cut off. Volunteers make regular friendly phone calls, run Chatty Cafe sessions where people can meet others and chat over a cuppa, and organise escorted day trips to local attractions. The service aims to keep older people healthy, independent and connected to their community.
