Samaritans offers free, confidential 24/7 emotional support on 116 123 to anyone in the UK or Ireland struggling to cope or at risk of suicide
Samaritans provides free, confidential emotional support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to anyone struggling to cope or at risk of suicide. Call 116 123 free from any UK or Irish phone, including mobiles and pay-as-you-go; calls do not appear on phone bills. You do not need to be suicidal to call. Volunteers also reply to letters and welcome face-to-face visits at local branches across the UK and Ireland. Specific support for those bereaved by suicide is also available.
