Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity) is the UK leading charity supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth
Sands is the UK charity supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby, including miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death. The free helpline 0808 164 3332 and helpline@sands.org.uk offer bereavement support; the website also hosts an online community and finds local Sands support groups. Specialist support is available for fathers, siblings, young people, families bereaved long ago, and people from African, Caribbean and South Asian communities, plus help locating graves or cremation records. Memory boxes and resources for professionals are also provided.
