Self Help Services, part of the Big Life Group, is a user-led mental health charity that delivers free NHS Talking Therapies across Manchester, providing CBT, counselling, eTherapy and trauma-focused support. Anxiety and depression peer support groups meet weekly at the Zion Centre in Hulme with no booking required, just drop in. Self-help courses and wellbeing workshops complement one-to-one therapy. You do not need a formal diagnosis to access the service; self-referral is welcomed online or by phone.
