Free confidence-building driving course for mature drivers aged 70+ to support independence and road safety.
Safer Essex Roads Partnership (SERP) runs a free Driving With Confidence course for drivers aged 70 and over who want to maintain their independence but may have concerns about driving. The course addresses anxieties about today's traffic, night driving, roundabouts, junctions, motorways and dual carriageways. Trained instructors reassure drivers that they are still safe and provide tips to keep driving safely. Available across Essex. Relevant to preventing social isolation caused by loss of driving confidence in older adults.
