Womens charity in Leicester offering bereavement counselling, ESOL, employment training, domestic abuse support and women-only health activities.
Shama Womens Centre has supported women in Leicester for over 30 years, particularly those from diverse and minority ethnic communities. Services include bereavement counselling, ESOL and English classes, accredited computer and Level 2 vocational courses, industrial textiles training, and information and guidance. The centre has a women only gym, sauna, yoga sessions and other wellbeing activities. They also offer domestic abuse support, carers support and a creche for parents in training.
