Volunteer-led help for older people across Sheffield, supporting independence at home.

Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care (SCCCC) is a charity coordinating volunteer-led services for older people who need a helping hand to stay independent. Volunteers support a befriending scheme, hospital aftercare visits to help people resettle after a stay in hospital, social activities and a young carers project. The team works with referrers including GPs, hospital discharge teams and social workers.
