Shelter England is the leading housing and homelessness charity. The emergency helpline and webchat support people who are homeless, have nowhere to stay tonight, face harm or abuse at home, or could lose their home within two months. Specialist advice covers private renting, deposits, benefits and debts, council housing, eviction, repairs and mortgage repossession. Separate operations cover Scotland and Wales as housing law differs. Open to anyone in England struggling with a housing problem.
