South Lakes Citizens Advice is the local Citizens Advice for the South Lakes, with its main office at Wainwrights Yard in Kendal. The team gives free, confidential advice on debt, welfare benefits, housing, employment, relationships and consumer issues, and supports people from Sedbergh, Kirkby Lonsdale, Grange-over-Sands, Ambleside, Coniston, Windermere, Ulverston and Kendal. Drop-in sessions run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with telephone advice the rest of the week.
