South Tyneside Citizens Advice has provided free, confidential and impartial advice from South Shields since 1966. The team helps with benefits, debt, housing, employment, energy bills, immigration and consumer problems. Appointments are mainly by phone but face-to-face and video calls are available, and home visits are offered when needed. The advice line and webchat are open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
