Springfield Domestic Abuse Support runs a womens refuge near Kendal and Samworth House for male survivors, plus community-based support across Westmorland and Furness. The team helps women, men and children to live free from domestic abuse, with safety planning, advocacy, counselling and help to access housing and benefits. There is a 24/7 helpline, and the community team accepts self-referrals and referrals from police, GPs and social workers.
