Social Connection & Community · Charity · Portsmouth
Armed forces charity branch supporting serving and ex-serving personnel and families in Portsmouth.
SSAFA Portsmouth offers confidential one-to-one casework, financial grants and signposting to anyone who has served at least one day in the Regular or Reserve forces, plus their families. Trained volunteer caseworkers phone or visit at home, assess needs, write case reports to apply for financial assistance, and signpost to specialist mental health or housing support. A forces background is not essential to volunteer, but access to a car and IT skills are. Contact SSAFA via the South East Region office.
