Specialist bereavement support, counselling and groups for adults, children and young people in north east Essex after the death of a loved one.
St Helena Hospice runs free bereavement support across north and north east Essex for anyone affected by a death, with no prior hospice connection needed. The team offers Bereavement Cafes, adult support, dedicated help for children and young people up to 17, and family group sessions. Forget Me Not is a fee-paying private counselling service for adults. Self-referral is available online or by calling the bereavement line on 01206 984274.

Eligibility: Anyone bereaved by a death in north east Essex; referrals accepted from 12 weeks after the death.

Not suitable for: Referrals are not accepted within the first 12 weeks of a bereavement; in the early weeks please contact your GP or Samaritans. Adult counselling has a fee; group support is free.
