St Helena Hospice is a Colchester charity supporting people across north east Essex who are facing incurable illness, dying or bereavement. Services include an inpatient hospice, Hospice in the Home, a virtual Home Ward, complementary therapies, spiritual care and the Safe Harbour programme. The SinglePoint 24/7 advice line on 01206 890360 took over 44000 calls last year. Bereavement Cafes and Forget Me Not counselling are open to anyone, not just hospice families. About 20 percent of funding comes from the NHS.
