St Helens Mind is an independent local mental health charity for adults aged 18 and over in the St Helens area. They offer a befriending service for isolated people, peer mentor groups, allotment social activities and counselling. Staff provide a listening ear, signposting and referrals to other services. Their aim is to help people build on their strengths, overcome obstacles and become more in control of their lives, regardless of cultural, religious or lifestyle background.
