St Josephs Hospice was founded in 1905 by the Religious Sisters of Charity on Mare Street in Hackney and supports people across east London living with serious illness. Care is delivered through an inpatient unit, community palliative care at home, day hospice, bereavement counselling and a 24/7 advice line. A dedicated welfare benefits team also helps patients and carers claim what they are entitled to, securing over 777,000 pounds for families in a recent year.
