Catholic charity offering crisis and transitional accommodation for homeless adults in the east of Newcastle.
St Vincents Newcastle, part of the St Vincent de Paul Society, provides 24/7 supported accommodation for homeless adults in the east of the city. Three projects offer 12 en-suite bedsits at New Bridges (for people 30+), six self-contained apartments at Len Woodley including a wheelchair-accessible flat, and three flats for single homeless women at Rosalie Rendu. Staff help with budgeting, benefits, advocacy, social skills, employment and move-on accommodation. Referrals come via Newcastle Housing Advice Centre and the Newcastle Gateway.
