Trussell-network foodbank for Stretford, Old Trafford and north Trafford providing emergency food parcels and welfare signposting.
Stretford Foodbank, part of the Trafford North Foodbank, is a Trussell Trust foodbank covering Stretford, Old Trafford, Urmston and north Trafford. The Leathwaite Centre acts as the main hub, with extra distribution sessions in community venues. People are referred by GPs, schools, social prescribers and other front-line agencies and given an emergency three-day food parcel. Volunteers offer practical help and signposting to debt and welfare advice, so people are supported beyond the food parcel itself.
