Practical and emotional support for stroke survivors, including TIA, and their families across Mid Essex.
The Mid Essex Stroke Recovery Service provides practical and emotional support after a stroke or TIA (mini-stroke), and is also there for loved ones, carers and friends. A Stroke Support Coordinator works one-to-one with each person to identify what matters most to them, offering home visits, telephone calls and online support, a personalised review, tips to support recovery, and information about stroke and other local services. Local contact is Julie Pamment on 07717 275767; the national Stroke Helpline is 0303 3033 100.
