Evening phone, text and email support service run by Suffolk Mind for anyone in Suffolk struggling with loneliness, low mood or complex emotional needs.
Suffolk Night Owls is Suffolk Minds evening emotional support service for anyone in Suffolk except Waveney, including people with complex emotional needs or struggling with loneliness, depression or anxiety. Trained workers, who are experienced listeners although not all mental health professionals, offer phone, text or email support seven nights a week from 7pm to 1am. People must first self-refer to be given the direct number. This is not a crisis service and is funded until 31 March 2027.

Eligibility: Adults living in Suffolk (excluding Waveney) who need evening emotional support; registration required.
Area covered: East Suffolk
Not suitable for: Night Owls is not a crisis line and is unavailable to people living in Waveney. Anyone in immediate danger should call 999 or NHS 111 option 2 for the mental health crisis line.
