Independent Mind-affiliated charity offering counselling, listening services, wellbeing groups, bereavement and suicide-loss support in central Sunderland.
Sunderland Mind has supported local people for over 50 years from its Wellbeing Hub on Church Street East. The team runs a free Listening Ear service for adults and young people, wellbeing groups, school programmes, couples and trauma counselling, and bereavement and suicide-loss groups. Group services are self-refer and open access for anyone living in Sunderland, while counselling is accessed through Sunderland Talking Therapies. The charity holds the Mind Quality Mark.
