Surrey Heath Age Concern
Social Connection & Community · Charity · Surrey Heath
Independent charity supporting older people in Surrey Heath with befriending, lunches and activities.
Surrey Heath Age Concern (SHAC) tackles loneliness among older people in Camberley, Frimley, Bagshot and the wider borough by running about 170 events a year. Regulars include the Mens Breakfast Club, Tea and Memories reminiscence sessions, agility classes, a curry club and the Rainbow Cafe (Cosy Corner). A volunteer befriending scheme visits people at home and the team also signposts to Connect to Support North Surrey.
