Tameside East Foodbank is part of the Trussell network and serves Hyde, Stalybridge, Dukinfield, Mossley and Longdendale. Centres include Holy Trinity and Christ Church St Matthews Stalybridge, St Johns Church Centre Dukinfield, and St Barnabas Hattersley in Hyde. People in food crisis are referred with a voucher by Citizens Advice Tameside, schools, GPs and social workers, then collect three days of nutritionally balanced food along with toiletries and signposting support.
