Tameside South and Longdendale Foodbank is a Trussell network foodbank covering Ashton, Denton, Droylsden, Audenshaw and Longdendale. People are referred with a voucher by Citizens Advice, social workers, health visitors or schools and collect three days of nutritionally balanced food. Centres rotate across local churches and community buildings, and the foodbank works with partners on the Bread and Butter Thing affordable food rounds and the Action Together signposting service.
