The Reading Agency runs Reading Well, a book-prescription scheme offering free expert-endorsed wellbeing titles via UK public libraries.
The Reading Agency is the national reading-for-wellbeing charity, reaching more than 1.9 million people including over 800,000 children. Its flagship Reading Well programme works with the NHS, libraries and health professionals to recommend free, expert-endorsed books on mental health, dementia, long-term conditions and young people's wellbeing. Reading Well titles are available free via public libraries across England, supporting bibliotherapy and social prescribing referrals.
