Versus Arthritis is the UKs largest arthritis charity. The free helpline 0800 5200 520 (helpline@versusarthritis.org) is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and closes at noon on the last Friday of each month for training. Information covers conditions, treatments, surgery, benefits and self-management. Local branches across the UK run peer support groups and exercise classes. An online community, virtual assistant and free booklets are also available. Open to anyone in the UK affected by arthritis or joint pain, including family, friends and carers.
